"It seems the on-screen menu is screwed up"
January 11, 2010 Posted by Brian

Hello Nick.
I recieved the power supply today and installed it. Its been running all day and the picture looks good. I am having a problem with the menu though. It seems the on-screen menu is screwed up. It is kind of broken up like when you select one of the catigories and the drop down part shows up the high lighted area doesn't line up with the actual area you want to select. and along the bottom of the screen just shows like a big rectangle of messed up graphix where you should see the sliding scale. Once you turn the menu off the picture is complete and perfect though. I have read about resetting the garbage in the ram on other tv's do you know if there is a procedure to do it on this one?
Thank you

Man you really know this tv. I did the procedure and it worked perfect. All the onscreen menu is correct and works great.
Thankyou very much.
